Relentlessly the days trudge on. The whole year stretching ahead like one long endless infinite treadmill. And it has barely started.
The first big hump; the stall situation. Obtain one stall for the filly and I have achieved one major hump.
Keep going with Whitby and Bolton; the two major contributors to cashflow. Get up at 4:30, get to the track (in the dead of cold winter), get her trained, knock off the dust, get in the car and go, go to Bolton or go to Whitby. And stay awake at the wheel. Arrive alive. And do this day in and day out. I don't know why I am so tired. And I am tired. I turned off the computer and think I made it to bed by just after 1 am. Yes, too late, I know but woke up with a bang when the alarm (and I do mean alarm, a raucas noice that could awake my deaf mother) at just after 4 am. Turned off the clock to get some more sleep until 8:15. I mean I did get at least 7 hrs, I think. Sometime in the night I punched Chickie by accident when I rolled over.
But I am always tired. And I spend way too much time at this damn computer.
