Picture this: Churchill Downs, the last race, November 16. A 5000 dollar claimer with a hard knocking horse in it whose name is Major Winters trained by, it seems, a guy named Ron Isbell Jr and ridden by the improbably named Borja Fayos. The horse is 55 to 1 and breaks from the gate full of run. The jock gets him trapped more or less 4 horses back on the rail. Horses fading in front of him; this horse is looking for running room. The rider is standing up on the horse from it seems the half mile pole home why I ask myself is this guy sort of standing up on the horse? Too tired, too tall, too stupid. And the horse finishes full of run 3rd with the standing up jock on his back and pays 15 bucks to show. Bad move riding some guys. This trainer has good stats and a live horse to throw away a race on weak rider.
